I used to genuinely like The Feministing blog, but now they do things like “deconstruct” Mad Men through the feminist lens, as if we were all so stupid as to not understand these supposed “nuances” handled with the approximate level of subtlety that might be achieved by Matthew Weiner coming to my house, lighting himself on fire and explaining it all to me while on fire. Which isn’t out of the question, given how he wyles.
