We’re pretty sure that insulting entire states is probably not the best way to achieve our recently stated goal to gain readership in every state, but as we’ve been known to say around the WTPWB offices, “fuck it.” We’ve noticed two things about the states where people have chosen to not read our blog: they are poor, or otherwise inadequate. Lets take a look:
Most of these states fall in the poor category. We took a look at median household income as measured by our fair federal government. States that haven’t read our blog lead the bottomfeeders, making up 6 of the bottom 11. Tennessee (40th), South Carolina (41st), Montana (43rd), Oklahoma (44), West Virginia (47th), and coming in dead last, we also claim Mississippi at 50th.
I know, what you’re thinking–but guuuyys, what about Nevada, Hawaii, and Alaska? Don’t worry, those people suck too. Nevada? Worst high school graduation rate.* Hawaii? Worst drivers in the country (other than NY/NJ obviously, but we’re just misunderstood). And Alaska? Worst at producing college grads. Well…that one’s not actually all that shocking.
So if you read this blog you’re probably loaded with ca$h, smart, a great driver, and sooo good lookin.
*Just really wanted to point out how the professor from Nevada puts a complex idea like ‘almost half’ into layman’s terms:
“Now the U.S. Department of Education has confirmed that our lack of education is the worst in the country. Of all high school students, a little less than half did not graduate in 2005, the most recent year with data available. That’s almost 1 out of 2 students.”
People who read our blog are Rich. Or at least not awful.
